Restorative Reset

Focused Trauma Therapy for Meaningful Change

Sometimes therapy doesn’t need to be open-ended to be effective.

The Restorative Reset is a short-term, focused therapy option for teens and adults who are motivated to work on specific issues—such as trauma, anxiety, grief, phobias, or distressing memories—and want a more intentional approach than traditional weekly therapy.

This service is designed for people who are ready to engage in targeted work, notice patterns that haven’t shifted, and want support that respects both their time and nervous system.

What Is The Restorative Reset?

The Restorative Reset is a time-limited therapy experience, typically spanning 4–6 sessions, that integrates trauma-informed and nervous-system-based approaches to help reduce emotional charge and support lasting relief.

Rather than focusing on ongoing exploration alone, this work is structured, collaborative, and goal-oriented—while still being compassionate and paced to your needs.

Sessions may include:

  • nervous system–informed interventions

  • trauma-focused processing (including ART when appropriate)

  • grounding and regulation strategies

  • collaborative goal-setting and reflection

The focus is on resolution and restoration, not endlessly revisiting the past.

Who This Is For

The Restorative Reset may be a good fit if you:

  • feel emotionally stuck despite insight or prior therapy

  • are impacted by specific past experiences you want to address

  • notice anxiety, reactivity, or avoidance that doesn’t seem logical

  • want a focused alternative to long-term weekly therapy

  • value efficiency, depth, and intentional care

Many clients who choose this option are high-functioning, thoughtful, and motivated—but tired of feeling held back by unresolved emotional patterns.

What This Is Not

To ensure clarity, The Restorative Reset is:

  • not crisis intervention

  • not a substitute for ongoing, long-term therapy when broader support is needed

  • not a one-size-fits-all solution

This approach works best when there is a clear focus and readiness to engage in structured therapeutic work.

What to Expect

Length:Most clients complete The Restorative Reset in 4–6 sessions, with sessions lasting 60–90 minutes, depending on individual needs.

Approach:Sessions are collaborative and paced, with an emphasis on nervous system safety and meaningful progress rather than pressure or performance.

Flexibility:If additional support is needed, options can be discussed—including transitioning into ongoing therapy or referrals.
